What if you were told you would never walk again?
Meet Paul — also known as Strokeboy. On Monday, he rode 15miles… and I was lucky enough to tag along. Yes, I taped his hand to the handlebars but make no mistake: Paul pedaled every mile himself. That’s grit. That’s joy on two wheels. |
And what saddle do you think carried him through? You guessed it — NINETYK.
Now, a quick update: You may have seen the headlines about tariffs and rising costs. Unfortunately, it’s time for us to raise our saddle prices. But here’s the good news: For all bike fit clients, we are extending old pricing through the month of September so come see us. |
Back to Paul — I’m no expert on strokes, but from what I understand, most people don’t survive the kind he had. Not long after, he was told he’d never walk again. Three years later, after relentless work, he’s not only walking — he’s riding. Our last ride was 15 miles, his longest since getting back on the bike, and the 2nd ride his foot did not unclip from the pedal at least once.
OK, so I’m inspired — but there’s more. Notice the jersey Paul is wearing: “Riding to Fight Kids’ Cancer.” This month, Paul is raising money to support kids battling cancer.
